Golden day

South Mali is one of the most exploited mining areas in Africa.

The major gold deposits are exploited by multinational corporations and

what is left by the local people who nomadically move around looking for gold. Every villager has the right to buy a portion of land but they usually can not afford more than one square metter that is why it is almost impossible for them to find big quantities of gold and they have to work hard day by day just to survive, whilst big corporations make huge profits selling the gold outside the country.
